This is such a case of excessive force. You did not need to literally blow the door off at 6am. Also ofc no one heard the announcement to come out at 6am.

I almost garrentee this was an intimidation technique. I feel like if you actually wanted to arrest him and not just scare his wife and children, you could have surveilled him and easily figured out that he left for work.

Pathetic

It's beyond that

They weren't even enforcing immigration, everyone in the home is a US citizen

[-] j0ester@lemmy.world 7 points 11 months ago

ICE: it’s fake!

They’re fucking morons.

[-] danekrae@lemmy.world 17 points 11 months ago

Now watch, as americans angrily, sits back down.

It's surprising that a country where there are more guns than people, due to the well known quirk of literally writing into the constitution that the people should be armed in order to stop government tyranny, it sure is enduring a lot of government tyranny.

[-] pivot_root@lemmy.world 9 points 11 months ago

It's not that everyone owns a gun, but that some people own a lot of guns. And it just so happens to be that those people support this kind of government tyranny.

It would be a very different story if the "tyranny" was punishing people for hate speech. That would be the wrong people being hurt, and that's unacceptable.

Thank you. These chuckle fucks who are casting aspersions have no clue whats really happening.

[-] Witchfire@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Cops also help that. As much as I'm for firearm regulation, in areas where you need a license (NYC) cops will only give those out to their buddies. There was a SCROTUS court case about it.

They showed up in record numbers for the no kings protests. So what are you talking about sitting down?

[-] danekrae@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

Yeah, really showed them. Everybody knows that peaceful protests always work against a dictatorship. Then they sat back down.

And what did you do?

[-] SheeEttin@lemmy.zip 85 points 11 months ago

I implore you all to read the full article. The guy's truck struck a CBP vehicle week ago. They let him go. Now, they assault and terrorize his family. Read the article. Get mad.

[-] MunkysUnkEnz0@lemmy.world 44 points 11 months ago

Yeah, they wouldn't have let him go if it was on purpose.

This is excessive. There were kids in the house. This is the second in one week.

[-] jessicablaze@lemmynsfw.com 40 points 11 months ago

This is state sponsored terrorism.

[-] Seasm0ke@lemmy.world 8 points 11 months ago

[-] danekrae@lemmy.world 33 points 11 months ago

First they came for the "illegal" immigrants, And I did not speak out, Because I was not a "illegal" immigrant

Then they came for the immigrants, And I did not speak out, Because I was not a immigrant

Then they came for the protesters, And I did not speak out, Because I was not a protester

Then they came for me, And there was no one left, To speak out for me

[-] kbobabob@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 11 months ago

So they strapped explosives to the door then told him to come out....of the booby trapped door?

[-] Xande@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 11 months ago

Mistakes happen... /s

[-] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago

He is now back home with his family after turning himself in Friday.

I’m so happily surprised. Not that he’s in the clear, but I didn’t expect them to let him go at all.

[-] whostosay@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

What is the charge?

[-] SheeEttin@lemmy.zip 1 points 11 months ago

So they're gonna rebuild that home and pay for the family's therapy now, right?

[-] Thedogdrinkscoffee@lemmy.ca 3 points 11 months ago

What a shithole country.

[-] Xande@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 11 months ago

Hmmmm, instead of Tropico 7 the next iteration should be "Muricana". Imagine the game with that much space to play a dictator in a Police state!

It is only continuing to get worse, and the law doesn't mean anything when The President chooses what laws he will follow. Only one realistic ending here.
