Didn’t Kirby destroy entire planets or something just because he got woken up from a nap?
To be fair, Kirby is a literal eldritch god. So only destroying a few planets is still probably on the good side for him.
Now that I think of it, in the DKC games, I don't recall anyone or anything being 'killed', enemies would just get knocked off the 2D plane you're on. They don't explode or vanish etc. like in SMB3 or ALttP.
