I did not win the $1.55 Billion lottery jackpot last night. So it’s off to work I go.
Otherwise not a bad day so far. Squeezed in a short bike ride and shower before the kids woke up. So that’s always a plus.

Good. Finally get to see a doc and see about switching my ADHD meds over to the new generic Vyvanse. Hoping this is the start of a new me.
I'm on vacation this week, and I'm making rye caraway bread and wild rice soup, and reading poetry all day. It's cool and damp and it's a good way to spend the day I think. Maybe I'll take the dog for a hike and pick black walnuts if it stays dry. I also finally earned enough beer money to buy a nice new winter coat so I'm pretty happy about that.
A nice day. A little overcast, but perfect to be outside and not get sunburned.
Meditated a bit on a friend who is very depressed, who was threatening very dark things, I tried to talk him out of it, haven't heard from them in a while. Just thinking about people, how do you keep your friends happy, but getting philosophical about what I can actually impact on somebody else. And how they think.
Got my energy back from last week, I'm able to do my swimming without feeling slow, without being drained, so whatever happened last week seems to be over. Did my 1 km, I'm not out of breath at the end, my muscles are still in control I'm not shaking at the end. Huge improvement over 3 weeks ago. So I'm feeling good about that.
My colleague is still sick, guess my blessing is not powerful enough...lol

I get to pet cheetahs today. And possibly baby lions. It’s gonna be a fun day I think.
How do the cheetahs like being petted? I must know.
They really enjoyed it judging by the purring. They were so incredibly fluffy and gentle. They even licked my hand. Did not expect them to be so chill. I wanted to hug it but was advised not to.

Mostly from !cat@lemmy.world, !cats@lemmy.ml and !aww@lemmy.ml. The later sometimes has a cute sloth or squirrel but I'm OK with it.
