What are the differences between lemmy and kbin software?

First of all, kbin is dead. Check mbin. Plus I think mbin is like communities (magazines) + microblogging. Lemmy doesn't support microblogging

Mbin has nicer default UI, better mastodon integration but struggle with embedded images. The latter point is pretty great with Lemmy, the first one can be mitigated by front ends. However, Mbin is definitely a valid choice
