If the image was actually a 7zip file with personal data from politicians, I have to ask: what the hell where you expecting while posting it on a meme community? It's not a meme, it's not funny and depending on the laws might be a crime. Even if it's not, it's completely out of place in a meme community and can generate a lot of trouble to the admins.

Even if the image hadn't been, the post contained the entirety of what the image was supposed to, which included not only names and addresses, but also the SSNs of the doxxed persons.

Is the image actually a 7z archive? I don't believe it is, and at first glance I thought that was the joke because the current administration considers possession of Vance memes a reason to do bad things to people. If that's the case, then whatever the opposite of YDI is.

This is a community in the spirit of "Am I The Asshole" where people can post their own bans from lemmy or reddit or whatever and get some feedback from others whether the ban was justified or not.
Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.
