I've always enjoyed the Microsoft project naming conventions. When you do a search, you get back so many responses, only to find out that was for something from a decade ago that has since been superceded twice by vaguely similar names.
See, this is why naming is important, is this the SDK for "Windows App" (the rdp thing), or something else. I think its something else, but who the fuck knows anymore.
Last I heard the Windows app sdk is a toolkit to create and make apps for Windows, not the remote desktop thingy. Unless they changed shit in the last 3 months. Wouldn't surprise me if they did tbh.
I think its that as well, but we shouldn't have to guess. Renaming remote desktop to "Windows App" was just stupid.
Microsoft sure is great. When they renamed Azure to Entra and then labeled the link to that particular portal as Identity in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center was amazing.
