She trained them to follow her everywhere, so even when she goes hinking her cats join her, too.

They even join her up on hunting stands.

I took my cat on vacations with me when he had too many unpredictable health issues to leave with a sitter. He flew with me and took car rides, not thrilled about that part, but there are good meds to keep them calm and from getting carsick. He liked visiting new houses and sneaking extra treats and food from relatives.
