Donald Trump posting a week-old photo has heightened scrutiny of his health.

Amid continued concerns about his physical well-being, Trump posted an image of himself playing golf with a former football coach.

But, given the photo was taken a week ago, people raised concerns about a potential attempt to hoodwink the public about the true state of the president's condition.

If I were Joe Biden, I would ride a bike in front of the White House every fucking day.

[-] finitebanjo@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

Let's be 100% honest, Biden's health probably hasn't improved since he lost to the fascist oligarch, he probably can't handle daily cardio of that extent.

Plus, it's not safe for him with so many protests and gestapo roaming DC.

[-] MushuChupacabra@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago

Donald Trump should simply make a public appearance to show that everything is just fine.

Let's hear about his health and wellness directly from him.

Also, release the Epstein files.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

I think he should prove how macho manly he really is by taking up that one guy on his offer to walk around a city...Baltimore, was it?

Also, he should go bike-riding with Biden to really show who is boss!

[-] absentbird@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

And play fetch with Commander.

[-] OrteilGenou@lemmy.world 11 points 3 weeks ago

Is "Trump's health is failing" the new "Trump will be arrested any day now"?

[-] Revan343@lemmy.ca 6 points 3 weeks ago

Not really; Trump dying is guaranteed to happen, while Trump getting arrested is basically guaranteed not to

[-] tempest@lemmy.ca 4 points 3 weeks ago

Just enjoy the lack of bullshit in the news while he isn't tweeting

Can't run away from time.

[-] mechoman444@lemmy.world 9 points 3 weeks ago

Hmmm? It's almost like electing 70/80 year olds to the most influential and powerful offices in the world is a bad idea.

You know... Retirement age in America is like 62 most places. Just saying.

[-] Limonene@lemmy.world 8 points 3 weeks ago

I know. He was not medically fit to be president even in 2016.

And some are even forced or incentivised

[-] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 9 points 3 weeks ago

This final season of America is getting interesting. 🍿

[-] cmbabul@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago

Optimistic of you to think this nightmare will ever end

[-] toph@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

Americans would do well to remember that the Roman Republic didn’t fall overnight, and it wasn’t just one person seizing power, but three different people over the course of 55 years.

The first, Sulla, retired from the dictatorship as promised but the republic never recovered from his actions or constititional reforms. Two generations and a few civil wars later the republic was finally dead in all but name.

[-] nyctre@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

I know right? They're gonna renew it until it is no longer profitable

[-] 60d@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 weeks ago

I'm so down with this! 🍺🍝

He’s either dead, or deflecting interest in the Epstein files.

RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!

[-] SupraMario@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

I'm starting to think he had a stroke. If he is quiet the next week, shits gonna get crazy with speculation.

[-] dhork@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

I'd love for this to be real, but Newsweek is absolute trash right now. If they are right about something it's probably by accident.

[-] mister_flibble@sh.itjust.works 7 points 3 weeks ago

I suspect he's genuinely unwell. The man is, above all else, a complete and utter attention whore and this is a rumor that could be immediately dispelled by him doing a loud, showy, public spectacle. That should be like Chistmas for him; it's basically the universe giving him PERMISSION to do one of those fascism pep rallies he's so fond of, and yet he hasn't gone for it. Why?

I don't think he's actually dead but I do think he's in a bad way.

[-] bear@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 3 weeks ago

My guess is he had another stroke, and he is hoping his speech will recover to the point that it's not obvious.

When he got COVID the first time he made an appearance while he could barely stand and breathe.

When he got COVID the first time he made an appearance while he could barely stand and breathe.

100% this. That and his deep and abiding narcissism. His sycophants keep saying he's the most accessible and transparent POTUS ever, but it's just because the guy is absolutely THIRSTY to be in front of cameras at all times.

If something was not going on, he'd be racing to be in front of those cameras already.

[-] Geobloke@aussie.zone 1 points 3 weeks ago

He might have had some routine surgery, probably not uncommon for someone his age, but his vanity won't allow himself to appear weak

There’s only so many Big Macs you can stuff into an 80+ year old body before something gives out.

[-] zarathustra0@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

I thought they just came straight out the otherside into the diaper?

[-] some_kind_of_guy@lemmy.world 0 points 3 weeks ago

I've heard he's been spotted recently using a Cinco^®️^ Food Tube^™️^.

For the uninitiated. (Warning, YouTube link)

[-] NatakuNox@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Updated picture below. Turn Sepia to 100% for max effect.

[-] Showroom7561@lemmy.ca 1 points 3 weeks ago

His health went into deep decline after meeting with Putin. 🤔

[-] gressen@lemmy.zip 0 points 3 weeks ago
[-] ThePantser@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 weeks ago

Yep and you can't see his face, it's from far away, and if it is him he looks like he had a stroke. That picture proves nothing. The man who loves to speak to reporters and have camera time suddenly is camera shy, it's suspicious.

It's presumably a distraction technique. But I'll shed zero tears if it's true

[-] Soup@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

I, for one, will have a party.
