Surprised how much 2000 still had from it's predecessor, which is now open-sourced (and reimplemented in Python & C) as Micropolis btw.

I hope one day gamers start to study the philosophy of art to better understand why the stuff that takes more effort with fewer resources is better than the stuff that takes less effort with more resources.
