What are safe places to buy non AI art online? (lemmy.world)

I enjoy going to local markets and buying art from the artist. I would love to be able to shop online with the same confidence that the art is actually made by a human. Any places where I can buy posters, photos, or other art that is by humans? Is Etsy safe, or are there better places?

You might be better off following individual artists you like and buying from whatever shop they use. It'll be the best way to tell

That’s cool! Not the style I’m looking for, but still very cool! That makes me think what we really need is a list of small artists organized by style.

tiktok has many.

this guy has been my most recent interest; i like how intentionally tactile his works are and it adds a dimension that goes well beyond traditional paintings. you can see a little bit of it in the images on his profile but none do it justice.

Ooo I love his work! Could you possibly share a link to his shop? TikTok refuses to let you interact with their website to force you to download the app.
