I've got fond memories of that movie.

Oh jeez. Memories from this long ago are hazy at best. However, I grew up in a fundamentalist Christian household, and the kind of movies I could watch were limited. My dad was a truck driver, though, so he had a (definitely not gay maybe) love for Tom Selleck and/or mustaches. So the most graphic movies I saw were this one and Quigley Down Under. I can't remember, but this may have been my first sci fi movie ever.

It's crazy how much more effective robot killing machines are now, than what they envisioned in this movie.

IT IS THE PRESENT

A man intended to do acting work has been programmed to sell reverse mortgages to scam old people.

Someone must stop the madman who started it all.

Hurling ordure at the TREACLES, especially those closely related to LessWrong.

AI-Industrial-Complex grift is fine as long as it sufficiently relates to the AI doom from the TREACLES. (Though TechTakes may be more suitable.)

This is sneer club, not debate club. Unless it's amusing debate.

[Especially don't debate the race scientists, if any sneak in - we ban and delete them as unsuitable for the server.]
