I once read a Lil Abner comic where a billionaire seeks out the creator of his favorite comic book "Corporal Krok." The rich guy has never been able to find issue #1, and he demands that the now elderly artist reproduce it. The artist tells him that he'll need five dozen burlesque queens as models. The billionaire is suspicious, but the artist points out that he's never seen the comic.

Seeing as I can never finish it I'd believe it.

I've tried reading the Silmarillion a few times, could never get through it. I've nothing against those who like it, but man, it's so boring!
