My first lemmy account was on an instance called iusearchlinux.fyi then it just disappeared suddenly and without explanation (admin probably burnt out). Anyway, it was nice to be able to tell people i use arch linux without actually having to tell them. I miss that instance
I'm using CachyOS which is based on Arch btw.
I tried it but TF2 wouldn't launch so I switched to Ubuntu.
I installed TF2 on a Mac with only integrated graphics in college and played a ten to twelve FPS slideshow for years.
It was Debian as well.
I've been playing it on and off since launch and never got less than 60fps ๐ , but generally around 120fps as I had a 3d vision monitor(that didn't work so well in source games though iirc).
didn't get as far as seeing a framerate in arch, couldn't work out why it wasn't working and gave up ๐
haven't checked my framerate in Ubuntu but felt like about 144 or something like that
