Water water water all day every day & nothing else appeals to me & nothing else will satisfy me.

[-] Rhynoplaz@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I just don't get this. I wish I did. I do try to make myself drink water daily, but I could definitely drink more of it.

I just can't see how it's anyone's favorite. It's like the most boring of any beverage. It's like taking medicine, I do it because I have to, not because I want to.

It's nothing special but it's always there for you. It's like the one that's been waiting while you've chased after other beverages and had your heart broken, and then you realize it was the one all along. tl;dr you friendzoned water

Everything else except water is literally dehydrating. Water quenches my thirst. I've had a massive water drinking daily habit for 30 years.

Flavored sparkling waters. My kingdom for a La Croix.

[-] SansJose5000@ani.social 4 points 1 month ago

Apple juice has been hitting good for me recently

[-] theywilleatthestars@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

Have a cold at the moment, so I'm currently drinking gallons of herbal tea

[-] RBWells@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Water for sure #1

Cafe con leche favorite caffeine drink. Diet coke distant second, but I like it.

Cocktails, tie between margarita and paper plane I think.

Wine? A dry Sauvignon Blanc.

[-] moondoggie@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Brawndo. It mutilates my thirst and, as a bonus, it’s got what plants crave.

• Alcoholic: Scotch. Straight.

[-] fubarx@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.

[-] msokiovt@lemmy.today 2 points 1 month ago

I have two: water and green tea. That's it, nothing else.

Sometimes, though, I drink coffee, but it's unlikely I'll do that (one mug of coffee or green tea is enough for me).

[-] mysticpickle@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 month ago

Cherry Coke.

[-] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Iced breve latte (latte with half and half instead of milk)

Cherry Coke Zero

Whatever good beer is on sale

[-] Treczoks@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Water with a hint of lemon or lime.

[-] pruwybn@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 1 month ago

Whiskey coke

Miami Vice.

They make a pina colada and then they make a strawberry daiquiri and then they swirl it together. Bartenders hate making them because it's double the work, I rarely order it unless the bar advertises it or has everything premixed.

[-] Armok_the_bunny@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Canned Barqs root beer (the can part is important, it affects the flavor) for non-alcoholic, Woodchuck Amber for alcohol. Hopefully obviously I do drink plenty of water though, I just don't go out of my way to drink extra.

Mocha. The tropical belt's kissing cousins are absolutely delightful in a hot milk bath.

Although, I wouldn't turn down an eggnog mocha if offered.

[-] MagnificentSteiner@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 month ago

One (double) cup of coffee with some stevia, black. Fiber. Water. Water. Water. Water. Water. Fiber. Water. Water. Kratom. Half of a Zero Sugar Peach Snapple. Water. Milk. Fin. Literally every day.

[-] palordrolap@fedia.io 1 points 1 month ago

Kratom

uh-oh

[-] itisileclerk@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

[-] LeapSecond@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 month ago

Tea/infusions in all its possible shapes and forms. Except bottled ice tea, that's not tea.

[-] zxqwas@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

There is nothing better than a cup of black coffee in the morning.

Tap water is also good, but that depends on what town. It's great where I live now. It's meh where I grew up.

Pale lager or smokey single malt if alcoholic drinks.

[-] jordanlund@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Been doing a lot of this iced lately:

[-] sfxrlz@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

Actually coca Cola. But since my dentist bills have been getting expensive it’s sparkling water.

[-] Corporal_Punishment@feddit.uk 1 points 1 month ago

Beer. I love it.

Non-alcoholic, then probably the tropical pop from Aldi.

I'm a fucking snob so I spend way too much money on expensive single malts and gyokuro green tea.

[-] popekingjoe@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Ice water. Always.

I also really love orange juice and most cherry flavored sodas, both artificial and natural.
