BS. At this point it's just clickbait
No no, this time it is really for real!
Rumors coming from a guy with a bad history of fake claims.
My nuts cannot get any more tickled
Not with that attitude.
Want to bet?
I think we'll get a Half-Life, but it won't be numbered
So like the previous sequels Lost Coast, Episode 2, Episode 3, & Alyx
The first three are all "Half Life 2:" titled. But yes, I mean like Alyx.
I’m expecting something like Desk Job
Yeah. But if they did, they'd best surprise us with a 7 day countdown appearing or something, so everyone has time to replay Episode 2 to remember wtf was going on.
It wouldn't really be something you could enjoy by watching a recap video. And everyone under the age of like 25 wouldn't know wtf is going on without a recap video of ar HL1/Opposing Force/Blueshift/Decay mashup into HL2 and episodes recap. "Ooooooh, so that's what Half-Life is and where we're at."
A new title would be most likely, for new generations to start with.
Then they too can get hooked and wait two decades for more.
My friend that let me borrow his copy of Half Life 2 back in the day would probably say the same thing. And he's probably just as credible at this point. If it ain't coming from Valve directly there's really no reason to believe it.
The hardware itself is probably already a loss leader.
If they wanted it to launch with Half-Life 3, they would have had to start working on it like five years ago.
I don't have a source handy but they've said it's not a loss leader, same as the Deck.
interesting
