I'm surprised you made a whole meme about it. I'm honestly impressed. I guess the only word that comes to mind is "neat."
As someone that switched to vaping after 15 years of smoking, I hate everything about disposable vapes and I'm honestly not surprised that these things are worse. From what I can tell they are barely regulated where I live and nobody that uses them even care what's inside besides the nicotine they want. I still do it the old school way with a device that can actually refill and change our coils, but almost everyone I know has switched to disposables because they are "easier."
Nowadays, disposable vapes are so prevalent that I'm finding them in all the places that used to be littered with cigarette butts. The side of the road, camping grounds, parking lots, and public trash cans. My whole life I was taught to dispose of batteries properly, but I guess if you can't see them it doesn't count. Now there are lithium batteries littered all over public spaces housed in cheap plastic cases just waiting to cause environmental damage and potentially fires.
Imagine going to work, paying your taxes, and just living your life when one day you get taken by people you don't know and shuffled around to different countries and prisons for literally no fucking reason over the span of just a few months. Can't talk to your family and probably don't even know where you are half the time. This can happen to any of us and you'll never know it's coming until you are already being detained. It's so disgusting, inhumane, and horrifying.
"Oh no! The consequences of my actions!"
Nah fuck this guy. We need to make Nazis unforgivable again. None of this halfway bullshit or trying to see their side of the story.
They are literally pumping and dumping the stock market as a whole. It's market manipulation by tariff as they make bank on peoples fear.
I never trusted Honey to begin with but this goes far deeper than I ever expected. I always wondered "yeah, but where do they get their money?" I always figured it was just a way to take people's data and sell it to data brokers (which they probably also do, let's be honest) but this is just blatant fraud. Stealing affiliate money from links and having companies pay them to purposefully give out worse coupon codes is just devious through and through. It's basically free money and everybody else, whether influencer or consumer, get fucked over in the process.
Jesus Christ that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The submarine in the game Iron Lung was safer to drive than this thing.
But Wilby said that for the Titan, the coordinate data was transcribed into a notebook by hand and then entered into Excel before loading the spreadsheet into mapping software to track the sub’s position on a hand-drawn map of the wreckage.
The OceanGate team tried to perform these updates at least every five minutes, but it was a slow, manual process done while communicating with the gamepad-controlled sub via short text messages.
Updates every FIVE MINUTES?! I wouldn't even trust this thing in a damn swimming pool.
Here's an experiment for you to try at home. Ask an AI model a question, copy a sentence or two of what they give back, and paste it into a search engine. The results may surprise you.
And stop comparing AI to humans but then giving AI models more freedom. If I wrote a paper I'd need to cite my sources. Where the fuck are your sources ChatGPT? Oh right, we're not allowed to see that but you can take whatever you want from us. Sounds fair.
I'm a PC gamer and have been since I was a kid. It's literally my number one thing I do when I have free time is get on some games and hang with the boys. It's a big part of my life.
As game companies go, I don't trust Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Bethesda, Sony, Epic Games... It's a long list. Valve is the only company I even kinda trust (Which isn't even that much these days). If Microsoft bought Valve I'd probably never buy a PC game again. Because all the companies selling them would be companies I don't wanna give money.
But it's not true that they were buying it so it's a moot point. Just wanted to rant. :)
Jesus fucking Christ I am so tired of this.
I'm so tired of hearing this man say "billions of dollars" over and over again with absolutely nothing to back it up and people just going like "yeah, totally. Billions of dollars."
