British London upper class. French any American who lives in a 4 bedroom single family in a blue state which both snows and is warm.
Jean Luc Picard's fake French accent.
Actual French accent doesn't even come close.
Mine, of course.
A tie between Japanese and French.
I'm partial to both Colombian and Namibian accents atm
As a French speaker I think Italian is pretty sexy, however French is also considered as a sexy accent ;)
There was this Imgur post going around with this girl talking to a goat. Real molasses in your ear. Pure coalminers daughter according to one comment.
Cant find it now sadly
British. Specifically black people speaking British.
Now, dont judge me..!
I've got a thing for Welsh women. Specifically, Eve Myles, Torchwood of course but primarily Merrill in Dragon Age 2. So damn cute.
Yeaaaaaah.
I've always enjoyed a stout Minnesota accent. Very cosy and fun. Sexy... Is a bit beyond my use case.
Women speaking south-western Norwegian accent. The one from Sandnes is my weak spot. It's very soft and feminine.
That's my hard pass for some reason. Or did you mean when that dialect speaks English?
When it is spoken in Norwegian. For some reason it just makes women sound softer, warmer and even more feminine to me. Maybe it's because of associations, no idea ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Australian imo
There is a certain Australian accent the just drives me wild. There are others that don't ๐
I was wondering if anyone is into the bogan accent
Oi fark orf ya caaant, no ones farking getting off on dis shit ay.
One that isn't yours. No offense.
I actually think that's a universal truth. One's own accent is boring or even feels "non-existent" (it exists) but it may be very attractive to someone else with a different one.
Scottish
There are multiple Scottish accents. You'd have to pick which one! Perhaps the most widely recognised would be Glaswegian.
Though probably not the most widely recognised as sexy ๐
@ambitious_bones@lemmy.world
@wuphysics87@lemmy.ml
which one though? I can guarantee you're not talking about Ayrshire (mine) or (most) Glaswegian. North & Islands are pretty good though.
Whats the one Frankie Boyle speaks?
he's from Glasgow, however almost all Scottish people, if they depend on depend speaking to make a living, change their accent a bit and we tend to speak more slowly. to me, he sounds quite mild and proper. still Scottish, i can tell he's from Glasgow ish but his accent isn't strong. also, he's speaking slowly. Our accents vary a lot here. I grew up 35 miles from Glasgow but people there couldn't understand me a lot of the time when I spoke.
I have a need for more Scottish accents in the movies I get recommended :<
Shrek is love, Shrek is life.
Yeah, but Shrek's Scottish accent is horrible.
Kenyan
Usidanganye watu ww ๐
I had to throw that into a translator, I barely know a little shimaore which is not even exactly kiswahili. What did you mean ?
Ah, I assumed only a Kenyan would answer Kenya lol. It means "stop deceiving people" meant jokingly
yea heheh this is essentially what I got with deepL. No I only have been on a couple stopovers in Nairobi.... women are beautiful... and like I mentioned they speak a close cousin of the local language over here... which I find very sexy. Both in kiswahili and english btw. Are you from Kenya ?
Your momโs.
