thanks for replying as I have the strangest thing right now where I don't see my post in the community and I came close to thinking I had not done it (you know like when you do all the stuff then don't hit the button or something) and came close to posting it again. Hey @rimu@piefed.social this is not necessarily a piefed thing but I don't see this post of mine in comics@lemmy.ml from this morning and your the only one I know who might be able to check something like caching or replication or something I don't know the term for. I mean there are likely others but im like 99% sure you might be able to comment with something useful.

My apologies. So I posted this comic to Comics@lemmy.ml but I don't see it when I go there. I have sorted by new and actually the last thing I see is jug head dread from yesterday. Is it possible piefed.social is not updating things from lemmy.ml or something?
yogthos@lemmy.ml, who posts in that community, is banned from piefed.social so we're not seeing their posts but otherwise federation looks to be working as expected.
Thanks. Yeah maybe its something on their end. I mean I got the notification that the person commented and from there can be at my post but when I go to the community it does not show. Curious though. So if our instance bans an account then you won't see posts from the person even if you did not block them?
Yes. Weird that you're getting notifications about comments from blocked people though... That sounds buggy.

darn it. usually I do the opposite.
Hopefully, they live in the middle of nowhere or those kids are in for a rude awakening at midnight...
I live near the middle of nowhere and there is fireworks from around 8pm until 2am.
We will be dosing our dog with trazadone at 6 so it has time to kick in before the fear box shredding and hiding in the basement begins.
