Buying Android phones and tablets based on what is supported by LineageOS is what I do.
Recently sold mine after the OneUI 8 update. S24U to a Pixel 10 Pro XL with GrapheneOS. Loving it.
I just switched from my Galaxy A53 5G to Pixel 9a. Installed GrapheneOS on it and it works flawlessly.
