Happened to me. Lost my phone at a party. Someone called it to help me find it.

Next day I see I have a missed call from a number I don’t recognize. The strange thing is that they called me in the middle of the night. Is it a spam call? Who calls me in the middle of the night???

Took a while to connect the dots.

Years ago when I was living with my parents, my mother was at work, I worked nights. She called me during the day and this was the conversation :

Mom: I need a favor, go into my bedroom, get my cell phone and bring it to me.

Me : you are are work right?

Mom: yeah

Me: you can't make personal calls at work so you must be on break right?

Mom: what? Just bring me my phone!

Me: if you are on break, how are you calling me?

Mom: oh shit, nevermind I found it.

Even better:
Using the ultra-loud remote phone finding feature, giving your partner driving in the car you left it in nearly a heart attack.
Happened to us a few months back... 🥴

I would pick up my partner's phone where I saw her leave/forget it, put it in my pocket, then she would use the find my phone feature on her apple watch and I would jump at least a meter into the air

Who is happy about a missed call?

People that never get called, I mean, other people, not me, a friend. A friend of a friend.

Yes yes, most people just happen to have a "friend" this happens to.
