After Christmas I was telling my partner that if you put a microphone above every person's dinner tables for just Christmas day you'd get enough confessions of war crimes to fill the hague 10x.
I read a post by an antizionist Israeli on the jews with a conscience subreddit where they mentioned their brother came home from Gaza and was having a laugh with their family telling them all the war crimes he committed; I genuinely don't understand the lack of shame or remorse, or how their family just join in on the laughs. The person said if they'd said anything even slightly against it they'd get an earful. Literally no shame or remorse.
Precisely! Americans feel like they're better than isntrealis but they're one and the same.
It's a hot take but the big backlash those comedians had for performing at the Riyadh festival was foolish to me. Your country does so much worse and you never call it out!
I understand they do deserve criticism for it, but the most libbed-up "support our troops" type of people hopped on the bandwagon too and it was so frustrating to see in real time.
No honor either.
Gotta be in Alexa's databanks. Just need to use an AI to sort it by relevancy.
A few details about this. This is an E-3 in the army, I never saw anyone in the military under a staff NCO carry s pistol, and I sure as hell never heard of anyone at that low of rank interrogating anyone.
The pistol in question appears to be a 1911 variant, very light single action only trigger. His finger is on the trigger, the hammer is cocked, and the safety is in fact off. The military was trained (even back then) that you never point a weapon at any thing you do not intend to shoot, keep your weapon on safe till you intend to fire, and keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire... A sneeze could have set the gun off like this.
This man is a sadist and I wouldn't be surprised if his explanation is covering over that he probably murdered this captured individual, or other unspeakable acts shortly after the picture.
Military handguns tend to have heavy trigger weights, the plagerism machine says 5-8 lbs.
Depends on the model, but yes. The USGI 1911 spec was 5.5-6.5 lbs, but that's not exactly a heavy pull. Especially with the short, single stage pull of the 1911 platform. It's not a rapid fire competition gun, but certainly not something you'd have to do hand workouts for.
Never the less, a couple pounds more pressure standing between someone's life and their brains panting a wall is immaterial to the violence in this picture.
