They forgot you can clearly see the car doesnt touch anything but his arms that he himself put down on the hood in the videos we have. The only vague one is the one he shot himself, with his phone in his hand the whole time, even as he allegedly was rammed while reaching for his gun. That doesn't seem to urgent to me if you can keep that grip on your fucken phone the whole time.

[-] NormDeplume@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

The most troubling thing I saw in the video that he shot himself was that you can see him switching his phone away from his dominant hand. Shortly before everything went down. He was clearing himself to draw.

[-] Triumph@fedia.io 3 points 1 week ago

Other video demonstrates that he drew his gun before the vehicle started moving forward. Like, fully out of the holster and about four or five inches away from his body.

He also started with his phone in his right hand and switched to his left before he moved in front of the vehicle. He knew full well he was going to draw.

I have a bit of a suspicion that the video was edited between him standing there and the bump when the car supposedly hit him. The speed of the shift of the camera image makes no sense considering the low speed the car drove.

Plus just before the incident he switches the phone to his left hand.... Also there is footage out there he has his gun out just before she drove off.

Is internal bleeding a reframing for a bruise?

[-] Sanctus@anarchist.nexus 2 points 1 week ago

The internal bleeding was probably his untrained ass panicking so hard it popped a hemmy

[-] crusa187@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 week ago

CBS is a total fash rag now. Mods should ban these posts as illegitimate news blogs, this garbage is untethered from reality.

[-] foodandart@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 week ago

Yeah.. Time to sever these sites as a source that's legit.

Maybe some sort of flair to denote that it is a compromised news outlet?

Not just for CBS but across the board.

[-] breezeblock@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 week ago

Lies all the way down

[-] Harvey656@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

[-] lolola@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 week ago

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

Only if you believe your eyes and ears

[-] Klox@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Can someone get this man a safe space?! Preferably in a state prison.

[-] CaptDust@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 week ago

Starting to think maybe - just maybe, they lie about everything.

[-] DaddleDew@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

So... He bruised his hand firing the gun or something like that?

[-] TheReturnOfPEB@reddthat.com 2 points 1 week ago

This is media reinforcement of Trump and MAGAs "one of us; all of you" genocidal thinking.

[-] reddig33@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

Stop posting crap from CBS News. Find other sources.

[-] DandomRude@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

It must have been a spontaneous case of diarrhea when he realized that he might even be held responsible for the murder he had just committed. Perhaps in his panic, he briefly imagined that the US was a constitutional state and that his employers, with their plan to establish a dictatorship, were not yet far enough along to protect him – or that he was just a dispensable accomplice to his masters.

[-] Zedstrian@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 week ago

More propaganda from CBS.

[-] TimeSquirrel@kbin.melroy.org 2 points 1 week ago

"Internal bleeding to the torso"

Without any more than that, I'm going to assume he just got a fucking bruise.

[-] crusa187@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago
[-] Brkdncr@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Are they considering a bruise internal bleeding?

[-] Zaktor@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 week ago

Since a medical professional wouldn't use the term "torso" (they'd call it the chest or abdomen), it's probably safe to assume they're just making stuff up.

[-] JoMiran@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 week ago
[-] ryathal@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago

That's where blood is supposed to be.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Is the internal bleeding from the butthurt?

[-] dhork@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

I mean, his ego did get extremely bruised....
