If cost isn't an issue, would you go for vegan meat and insect protein?
I personally would go for that, as our current livestock agriculture practice isn't sustainable at best, and at worst it is extremely cruel how these animals are put in cruel and inhumane condition. I'm of the school of thought that we should at the very least treat the livestock better since we are consuming them.
I really do hope that one day lab grown meat would be a viable alternative.
As for insect protein, it can feel icky, but if we can get past that, maybe eradicating world hunger and malnutrition isn't that far off.
It is ironic that unhealthy foods are cheap and widely available compared to healthier options. But due to that, there is a noticeable stunting in growth of the urban poor children, which was published in a study. ( I can't be arsed to look for it at the moment, as I'm on new medication and feeling extremely drowsy).
