I don't know why but I find this viscerally unpleasant.
I personally like the "old bathroom mat" look. It needs a little dirty spots and it would be perfect.
I'd change this to my gf's phone and act like it was just a new update

It's graphene bro. There's nothing this thing can't do, excepting send/report any non required type of telemetry.
They need to tie into the accelerometer and make those fuzzies dance when your phone moves.
And leave threads lying in directions you touched them in. Yes, it's a lot of RAM but who needs multitasking? Impression at the store is what drives sales.

Strongly disagree.
I know it became a meme, but I love Liquid Glass. It’s never been an issue for me to read (in practice, anyway, as there were some examples in the announcement video that were hard to read but I assume those were from earlier builds).
The refraction is beautiful, the contrast is sufficient, it delivers on the promise Windows Aero made but could never achieve.
Plus I welcome with open arms a return to skeuomorphism. Controls appearing to have depth is so much nicer than the flat look everyone used for so long. I also love the jiggling that menus do when you touch them. 😁
Skueomorphism is great but Liquid Glass feels like someone told Apple "UI should be invisible" and they took it literally instead of metaphorically

Finally someone else who agrees with me on this. I love Liquid Glass and I thought I was the only one. Nice to see someone else feels the same way.
Is this real? It wasn't on the Android store. I'm sad.
Does it also get dirty and sticky the more you touch it. If so, I am in. Best privacy feature.

Why has no one invented fluffy touch screens, yet?
Touch feedback would be a vibrating purr.
Each pixel would be a few mm long, soft hair (subpixels would blend in through the material) so the geometry would inevitably & intentionally be imperfect (differently) all the time.
Bad tech for text on my phone, great for my short-shorts.
