Even in their home market they have been losing market share year after year. They have to undercut the competition and rely on patriotism to sell.

People who don't know about cars

In response to commenters; Xiaomi's software is as good as their mobile phones - which is comparable to Iphone or similar. There are many tests like this. American and European cars are behind, and more expensive.

I'm a huge fan of Xiaomi's phones (for the hardware and pricing) but let's be honest their software isn't exactly their strength. To be fair, it has improved in recent years.

tbh, even bad phone software is miles ahead of standard auto software

From european car reviewers, i constantly hear they drive fine

But their software and such is annoying as fuck

Ive driven 1 chinese car and it was fine driving wise but oh god the software was crap

Ill be getting a european car

It's no surprise that European cars are the best and have been for centuries.

It also makes sense they have the capital to make the best EVs and software, but they are also expensive.

Chinese cars are cheap, but they are probably worth it if you do the pros and cons.

European cars are expensive to buy, not affordable to maintain and depreciate fast. Toyota and Hyundai make the best cars in terms of reliability, maintenance and resale value but they are beat by the Chinese on price and features. Only time will tell if Chinese cars are as reliable and easy to maintain and therefore will retain their value overtime

The car was invented in 1886. Centuries?

Oh my bad. English is not my first language, so I thought it was 100 years and not 1000 years.
