Did Bill Gates really have 0 ability to get antibiotics in secret except to ask Epstein for them, in writing?

Like he didn’t even have real life employees on NDAs he could pay to figure this out for him?

Even tho he has unlimited money he’s still completely powerless to get himself secret antibiotics and has to pop Epstein an email?

Why?

He didn't.

The email at the center of the viral post was not written by Bill Gates. It was written by Jeffrey Epstein — to himself.

Both the “From” and “To” fields list Epstein’s personal Gmail address. The message appears to be a draft, written during a period when Epstein’s relationship with Gates had deteriorated. In it, Epstein alleges that Gates asked him to delete messages related to an STD. But the document does not show Gates making that request, nor does it provide independent confirmation that any of the claims are true.

This is one of the difficulties with these releases - assessing the credibility of the information in each document is difficult. In this case, what you've just revealed might be obvious to anyone reviewing the actual document, but clearly no one is bothered doing that, and just assumes someone else will.

As the accusations pile up and no one does anything about any of it, the prevailing assumption is that none of it is reliable - of course the reality is that there must be dozens of identifiable witnesses who have or will provide testimony.

If I were the Trump Admin's PR boss, I'd probably be making posts containing fake Epstein documents, just to undermine the credibility of anything claiming to be an Epstein release.

Like all the incredibly salacious but unsubstantiated docs from when he was running for or already president that were included in this dump. Poison the well so none of it gets taken for truth.

Epstein had that dentist gf. So pretty easy.

These were for bills wife. Bill probably went to his gp and got them for himself.

But the story is Epstein was telling Bill how to slip her antibiotics on the sly to treat the std.

Also. And most men probably don't know this. But taking antibiotics often causes a yeast infection because it kills off the good bacteria in the vajayjay.

So. Melinda probably would have ended up seeing her doctor either way. And perhaps she did find out. If she didn't. She knows now.

Also. Her name 100% should have been redacted. She was a victim.

I suspect this was a contributing factor in the divorce.

That’s crazy. Did not even consider that angle but it makes sense.

[-] gustofwind@lemmy.world 11 points 4 days ago

Oh he did not actually acquire them or need epsteins help for that? Well I suppose that makes my question moot. I havnt done proper research on this because it’s just more shit on the shit heap

So why was Epstein mad about the friendship thing and why would Bill ask him about this if Epstein was mad at him?

[-] daannii@lemmy.world 13 points 4 days ago

My understanding was that the request or suggestion of antibiotics from Epstein to bill was specifically for Melinda to be treated without her knowing. So she wouldn't find out bill had given her a std.

I assume bill found out he had a std in the first place by going to the Dr.

I mean. He probably had symptoms. But was diagnosed by a doctor. So when that was confirmed, he was like. My wife probably has this and will figure it out.

I have thought more than once over this saga that Epstein wrote a bunch of incriminating shit into his notes for just this purpose.

[-] halcyoncmdr@piefed.social 16 points 4 days ago

Epstein was no idiot. Keeping some incriminating shit to use as leverage is smart scumbag 101.

[-] fizzle@quokk.au 11 points 4 days ago

I think the kompromat was a fundamental component of his operation.

If he were to arrange victims for you to abuse, obviously you would acquire incriminating information about him in the course of that engagement. He would obviously need you to provide similarly incriminating information implicating yourself, as surety he wouldn't be blackmailed.

Having unlimited money doesn't necessarily mean you'll be able to hide stuff from your wife. If she knows all the same people you do, then there's always a risk she's going to find out what you're up to...especially if it involves trying to get rid of a secret STD.

In this case, Epstein is probably the safest person to ask.

He alomost took it to the grave

[-] Shadow@lemmy.ca 8 points 4 days ago

That was my thought too when reading about it. Surely he has a personal doctor with a bit of discretion.

[-] gustofwind@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

Yeah like am I really supposed to believe he can’t ask a standard rich guy’s private doctor with automatic patient confidentiality

I’m sure he has normal friends he can ask if he doesn’t know about a doctor like that
