Terrible don't colour choices. I can't even read some of them.
I'll make the text darker & the bubbles lighter next time, noted.
Maybe try using a color wheel to find some complimentary colors that contrast better by the way.
Or even talk balloons that are just a white background with black font
I am down for stylistic choice rather than wholly practical but it needs to still take into account that. You can use colors that contrast as well as black and white without being that, even work with colorblindness.
I don't want them to lose color just hoping to make their art more approachable.
I can for sure make the colours for the bubbles & the text divide better by way of Value.
Sure, or drop shadow or outline. Few tricks of the trade, tone and value could work by intensity. Just make sure to take a step back from the computer and see if you can still tell what it is from a different angle (doesnt have to be perfect but tell what it is)
Your social handles should be a watermark (as in subtle and non intrusive to the art) if you are putting it in the comic boxes. Or just stretch the canvas and put it above or below the comic.
You are still overlapping and making a busy scene which makes it hard to focus on and appreciate the joke which was fine.
Now that I think about it there were so many ways I could of made the Watermark non intrusive but I just did not think hard enough, I'll give myself more time for the next strip tho so it'll hopefully be way better.
I say make sure to release it on schedule like you wanted.
A habit is good to form here and us the audience to expect and see it.
You don't have to be perfect right away and practice and time to learn comes together with doing. You don't know what you don't know and when you make something again you get a new chance to try again.
Hope you get your time to work on it! I look forward to it.
The speech bubbles don't need to come out of their mouths. Just pointing at the top of their head will let us know who's speaking without disrupting the scene so much.
Okay, thanks, I really like getting constructive criticism
