fwiw The Ghost of Kuwait seems real, despite it being the silliest scenario, but that's the reality we live in.

It might've been an intentional shoot down of the Amerikkkan F-15Es by the Kuwaiti F-18 pilot.

That's possible but also remember that Kuwait is a gulf state monarchy. There's a really good chance that he's some over-eager Al-Sabah princeling who's less than qualified to be a fighter pilot.

But Iran didn't shoot down F-15s over Kuwait. That's not how anti-air missiles or Saheds work.

It was within the range of Iranian air defences, and it happened over several days.

Where are you hearing that it was over multiple days? Everything says it happened on March 2.

It's not exactly confirmed when they were. Even the first 3 I remembered there being only 2 the first day. but there was another downed one or 2 days later that fell in the Iranian side, and another downed that fell in Iraq and had the pilots captured.

I'm not sure if leaders or people in high political office anywhere in the world want their kids on the front lines; instead something to keep in mind is that no matter how loyal the average Arab is to their government (and in my experience most people here are loyalists), they still hate the American military nonetheless. Kuwait may be harder to read though as we DID fight on their side in the first Gulf war (although further atrocities down the line could easily sour anyone's opinion).

I was imagining someone from the extended house of Al-Shabah, not in direct line to the throne. I think that a royal family would be very concerned with loyalty when deciding who gets to be sky knights, and they don't have many to choose from.

Even if the plane is shot down and crashes that's counted as a landing, a rough one.

Genuinely speaking I wish more internet leftists openly mocked the military's tech given we seem to have some very frequently failing machines; I recall a video by Xevi where he said that US fighter jets malfunctioned and crashed at high rates when trying to rescue the hostages (although I think he was saying it in a way that makes it clear it probably wasn't malfunctions), I also recall the chopper that was sent after Bin Laden that also 'malfunctioned' in Pakistan and crashed, and now these many, many malfunctions in this war as well.

Basically I wish more leftist youtubers openly mocked how bad our tech is, to make people have to consider: is it that the tech is bad, or that they're getting shot down? If you get nationalistic and upset, you'll have to contend with the idea that the military's tech is getting rekt.

This has been US doctrine since pretty much the beginning. If I don't know what I'm doing neither will my enemy.
