Hegseth is going to motivate them to go defend Christianity in the middle east, and be real men. After all these years, the US still has people signing up in its ranks thinking they are defending freedom or something, while in reality they do mercenary work for the US.

Go ahead and have heavy casualties for a pointless objective. US troops killed hundred of thousands of civilians in Iraq, as casualties, just unfortunate collateral damage, so that Iraq can eventually get back to where it was before, but without Saddam, and with US companies profiting from reconstruction and the oil industry. It was all worth it and it will be worth it again in Iran! Just a few dead "heroes" for the glory of Trump, Hegseth, and US hegemony. And if they die they were not that good to begin with anyway.

Let them eat war.

we'll all be eating war; when those soldiers die, it's going to make the 36% who still approve of trump and the 44% who support the war double down and it'll turn into vietnam on steroids when that happens.

He doesn't care. Soldiers are just poor losers to him. Netanyahu cares even less.
