Yeah it'll be a very interesting form of capitalism. Corps exist to turn money into more money. Since the state is now a biz, it can't run deficits/losses anymore. This implies no one will have any money since taxes > spending permanently. This can only be sustainable if profits are generated externally from foreign sector. But this also means not all countries can run profits.
At that point the issued currency just becomes an internal token for distributing wages to workers and products to production branches.

No no they meant “running it as a business” as in “putting a bunch of small business tyrants in control and letting them run it into the ground in the cruelest ways possible”

Run the government like a business and suck out all the money out of the company by refusing to invest in anything long term and instead sending that money into a small group of owners who actually contribute absolutely nothing.
They mean like Bernie Madoff runs a business.
Or like private equity.
It would also mean “firing” all those who are not deemed necessary for profit generation.
