Kind of a slow chapter to read weekly, it's building up Imu as a threat but that was already evident from the start. Really excited for the next chapter though since that's really going to decide where Imu stands.

Gerd's fingers coming off was interesting, usually Oda doesn't do gorish injuries like that so Imu is a rule break for him.

Oda has an opportunity to do the funniest thing possible and have a second time skip.

Imu cleared their fraud allegations pretty quickly

I like how imu was just rushing round speedrunning his tactical goals. No bs. No "playing with your food". Makes him seem like a much more threatening antagonist

The introduction of omen is veeeery interesting. Apparently the Japanese word for omen here is "maki" which shares a kanji with "haki" and is literally something like "demonic will", so is this some sort of evil version of haki? Interestingly is that Imu is giving omen to the God's Knights. Thinking about it along the line freedom vs domination, haki seems to be inherent to a person so maybe maki can be given to others as long as they're subservient to the user.
