Really curious about people's opinions on the remake, to me it feels kinda meh. Also unreal engine is a huge letdown for me.
Will it play on Linux?
That's the big question I'm asking for all remakes.
Wait, Gothic is made by a German company?
Edit Austrian, now owned by a Swedish holding firm. And Nordic wasn't the original developer of Gothic, but Piranha Bytes (German) was.
This is cool, but holy shit $65 CAD for a remake? A bit steep if you ask me. They should take a look at what Blizzard did with D2R....
The line between remake and remastered is definitely blurry but this is definitely more involved than D2R and more deserving of a full price ask. They are both the same price for me on steam but I live in a poorer country that steams discounts games heavily.
