I was Xiaomi + LineageOS user for 5 years before bought an iPhone and using it for a year.

My experience is shit so far. Simplicity is good but not for me. I don’t even think iOS is a good OS. Like I shouldn’t open the app to let iOS understand I really read that message. I can’t even rotate the screen to the direction I want.

My only excuse is camera. I even tried Galaxy 23 (or maybe 22, not sure) and don’t liked its camera. Is it placebo effect or what? Is there a really an alternative Android with better or equivalent camera?

If you're looking for an equivalent camera, the easy bet is a Google Pixel. Personally, I think the photos are way better on the Pixel, although iPhones tend to do video better

https://youtu.be/LQdjmGimh04 Mkbhd's blind test is a good resource, though for the standard scene i actually preferred the sony camera, which is interesting, considering i have a quite similar sony phone. So I think what you are used to is also a big factor!
