Sikh's are based, a genuinely lovely group they really do try to practice what they preach.

Just out of curiosity as someone from the USA, how would one cover their hair in practice after walking in off the street like a typical American in shorts/bluejeans and a tee shirt? Serious question.

Gurudwaras (Sikh temples) usually keep a bowl of big handkerchief-like cloths for people to tie on their heads. They look kind of like a bandana after tying.
... I misread this - twice - as "Sith" Temples
That is a pathway that some consider...unnatural.
