Took me a minute to discern that that's probably salsa with pepper on it, and not tater tots smothered in caviar, or red foam 😅

My wife brought me to a Mexican fast food spot from her childhood - they had “mexi-fries” on the menu, which were literally just tater tots.

This must have been over 10 years ago, but we still exclusively refer to tots as mexi-fries.

I guess this makes your meal a Mexi-poutine?

Taco Bell used to sell half-sized tater tots. Called them "mexinuggets".
