I still don't get why anyone would go to Dubai, especially women
My coworker has a friend that works for a company that sends her to Dubai fairly often. She gets paid a metric ton of money for it, apparently, but outside of work spends most of her time in her hotel room.
Someone else paying would be the only reason I would bother getting anywhere close to that corner of the world.

Under Emirati law, publicly insulting another person can carry a sentence of up to one year in prison and a fine of $5,450.
