Image: one of our POW camps filled with captured soldiers of the Christmas regime.

Season's greetings, fellow godless communists. I'm here to disseminate orders from our Supreme Communist Dictator as we once again find ourselves fighting against the very concept of Christmas. As a reminder, by the end of our five-year plan, we plan to be in a position to attack and dethrone God, but this intermediate step is required to fulfil this directive. Our forces in the field have made significant, if gradual, progress since you received your mission update last year. It has been difficult, but we have developed a series of defensive lines to prepare for a counteroffensive out of Lapland that will try and reach the Gulf of Bothnia in an attempt to cut the land bridge that we have set up across Scandinavia.

Currently, we foresee a few major threats. General Santa Clauswitz has been developing many tools in his workshop, including artillery-launched snowballs, barbed tinsel, and reinforced gingerbread armor plating for his tanks and infantry carriers. President Frostyy has made the following public statement: "The socialists who wish to destroy us have no idea what their defenses are about to face. Democracy will always defeat autocracy. Christmas will always triumph over X-mas. The leaders of the axis facing us are all on the naughty list and will be tried for crimes against festivity once this war is over."

Delusional as this may be, the next couple days will be the most dangerous as they stage their counteroffensive, and we need everybody to pitch in and get into defensive positions. We expect this to be the last major push that they will make before collapse. Please report any Christmas trees, mistletoe, or general symbology of the Christmas regime to your superiors.

Over and out.

Argentines Protest Against Milei's Unconstitutional Decree

Meanwhile, the Central Bank announced that it will issue banknotes with denominations greater than 2,000 pesos.

On Wednesday, thousands of citizens gathered in front of the Supreme Justice Court in Buenos Aires to support the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) during the filing of a challenge against the "Urgent Necessity Decree" signed by President Javier Milei.

The CGT initiative adds to a dozen legal protections already filed against such decree, which encompasses over 300 legal reforms to deregulate and liberalize the Argentine economy.

On Dec. 20, thousands of citizens also mobilized in a march that concluded in front of the Pink House, the seat of the Argentine government. This protest coincided with the 22nd anniversary of the economic, political, and social crisis unleashed in 2001.

Back then, Fernando de la Rua had to resign from the presidency just two years after taking office due to massive protests in which 39 citizens died as a result of police brutality.

The text reads, "The protests do not stop in Buenos Aires. Chirinos, Cavero, Yarrow, and Muñante salted Milei."

Due to the anti-riot protocol implemented by Security Minister Patricia Bullrich, the CGT requested authorization to circulate through the streets before today's demonstration.

Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Argentina announced it will issue banknotes of higher denominations than the current ones—1,000 and 2,000 pesos—to adjust physical currency to the prices of products and services that citizens pay in a country with an annual inflation rate of 160.9 percent in November.

The measure was announced by Milei, a far-right politician who ruthlessly criticized monetary issuance and pledged to burn down the Central Bank during his presidential campaign. Now, after his shock policies that have fueled hyperinflation, he blames previous governments for what is happening in Argentina.

Rioja Governor Requests Unconstitutionality of Milei's Decree

The Argentine Supreme Court accepted to study Ricardo Quintela's request in January.

On Friday, La Rioja Province governor Ricardo Quintela requested the Argentine Supreme Court to declare unconstitutional the decree signed by President Javier Milei on Dec. 20.

Quintela instructed Eugenio Zaffaroni, who is a former judge of the Supreme Court and a former judge of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, to formalize a "declaratory action of certainty claiming the declaration of unconstitutionality" of Milei's decree.

Ten days after assuming the Argentine presidency, Milei signed a "decree of necessity and urgency" to deregulate the economy. This decree came into effect de facto from today.

According to Quintela, his decree causes "irreparable harm to the citizenry" by being contrary to various articles of the Argetine Constitution and article 26 of the American Convention on Human Rights (ACHR), which commits States to the progressive and effective development of the rights derived from the laws.

"The far-right Milei administration has formalized its resignation from entering the counter-hegemonic BRICS bloc. One more step towards being a lackey of the United States, the dollar, and the IMF. Argentina missed the boat of going down in history alongside Brazil as a Latin American promoter of a multipolar world."

In addition, La Rioja governor asked the Supreme Court to issue a precautionary measure ordering the total suspension of the effects of the decree and instructing the Executive Branch "not to apply any of its provisions until the definitive resolution of the case."

"With the validity of the decree, federalism is seriously harmed, the unconstitutionality of the republic is violated, and the entire Argentine society is placed in a state of vulnerability in its labor, social, economic, and cultural rights," Quintela pointed out.

"Therefore, the claim, which I make on behalf of my province, seeks the Judicial Power to pronounce, guaranteeing the validity of the Rule of Law and consolidating our democratic values," he added.

On Friday, the Argentine Supreme Court accepted to study La Rioja governor's request but after the judicial vacation concludes in January.

Ancap Update: ancaptain

The Argentine government, in its hyper-law, also known as the "Bus Law", seeks to eliminate Article 1 of Law 27.612/2021.

This law requires congressional authorization to acquire international debt through loans. The Milei government has already said that new international loans may be necessary.

Lmao

Law 27.612 was enacted in 2021 after Mauricio Macri, the country's former president, borrowed 50 billion dollars from the IMF in 2018.

Link (Spanish only)

FOREIGN DEBT: THE GOVERNMENT WILL SEEK TO ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR CONGRESSIONAL AUTHORIZATION

The bill sent today by the Executive Branch to Congress includes the repeal of Article 1 of the Law for Strengthening the Sustainability of the Public Debt.

Why it matters.

Article 1 of the current Law requires that the taking of foreign debt in excess of the maximum percentage, established in the budget of that fiscal year, for the issuance of public securities in foreign currency and under foreign legislation and jurisdiction must go through the Congress of the Nation.

In context.

In 2018 Argentina received the largest loan in history granted by the IMF. It was during the administration of Mauricio Macri, who had as Minister of Finance the current holder of the Economy portfolio, Luis 'Toto' Caputo. For this reason, the Government of Alberto Fernández promoted the Law for Strengthening the Sustainability of Public Debt, which was sanctioned in 2021.

Argentine Police Repress Protest Against Milei's Reforms

The security operation ended in the arrests of several journalists who reported police brutality.

On Wednesday, the Argentine police closed some avenues in Buenos Aires to prevent the passage of thousands of citizens participating in a protest against President Javier Milei, called by the General Confederation of Labor (CGT). Six people were detained.

Following a peaceful march that concluded at Tribunales Square, a riot police operation, which was deployed by Security Minister Patricia Bullrich and Justice Minister of Buenos Aires City Waldo Wolff, "resulted in a show of police sweeping away those who were leaving the demonstration, including journalists reporting live," Pagina 12 pointed out.

This occurred after a rally organized by social and union organizations began and ended peacefully amid a massive deployment of federal security forces.

Nevertheless, the first violent incident occurred after a bus accidentally ran over a police officer, who was left unconscious on the asphalt and was transported in an ambulance.

lol

After the blockade of the Buenos Aires streets made Patricia Bullrich's operation and protocol fail, Waldo Wolff's police continue with the show at the Obelisk, deploying hundreds of officers before a 50-people concentration.

In an attempt to prevent citizens from blocking the streets, security forces armed with shields and batons began to beat people and make the first arrests.

During this police operation, Martin Brunas, the press secretary of Popular Unity and a CTA member, was arrested for filming what the police were doing.

"We were singing along Corrientes Avenue and reached Uruguay Street. They surrounded us, and we could not move. Ten police officers came and threw him violently to the ground. We were filming them," said a citizen accompanying Brunas.

Another victim of police repression was Agustin Ricardi, an artist who was arrested after filming the police with his camera.

"I was walking along Corrientes when the police arrived and told me, 'You cannot film here'... They hit me, threw me against the hot asphalt, and stepped on my legs. I told them 'You are burning me,' and they replied, 'You deserve it for doing things against Milei'," said another detainee for reporting police brutality.

Pagina 12 reported several accounts from journalists who suffered similar attacks by federal and municipal security forces. At least four press workers suffered injuries that had to be treated in health centers.

"We condemn the police operation... It turned into repression and assaults on press workers... We stand in solidarity with Martin Brunas and demand that all individuals be released," stated the Buenos Aires Press Union (SIPREBA).

Milei Ends Argentina's Economic Sovereignty: President Maduro

Javier Milei is a construction of Zionism to test a colonization project, the Venezuelan president stated.

On Wednesday, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro accused Argentine President Javier Milei of "eliminating all rights" of the Argentine people and "ending the economic sovereignty" of his nation.

The Bolivarian leader assured that this South American country is experiencing "disaster" and "madness" after the "dictatorial decree" of Milei, whom he sees as a "far-right neo-Nazi" who is "turning Argentina into an economic colony."

"Milei comes from the most extremist sectors of the United States... He is a construction of Zionism and Trumpism to test a colonization project of a country as important and as big as Argentina," said the Venezuelan president.

Recently, the Milei administration launched a policy package with 360 legal reforms to radically deregulate and liberalize the economy through a decree of urgent need (DNU), which has been actively rejected by Argentine social and union organizations.

Under the pretext of seeking macroeconomic stability, the far-right Argentine president seeks reforms such as the suspension of labor contracts in the public sector, the privatization of state companies, and the change of labor laws.

Described by the opposition as an unconstitutional norm, Milei's decree also seeks to eliminate some 7,000 jobs in the public sector. This policy will mainly affect the workers of the National Social Security Administration (ANSES), the Comprehensive Medical Care Program (PAMI) and the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP).

The rise of Milei to power meant an ideological fracture in relations between Caracas and Buenos Aires, which experienced tensions during the presidency of Mauricio Macri (2015-2019), which were normalized again during the presidency of Alberto Fernandez (2019-2023).

The United Liberation Front of Assam and India Sign Peace Pact

ULFA was founded in 1979 by 20 youths who initiated a struggle for the independence of Assam.

On Friday, the Government of India, authorities from the Assam state, and a faction of the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) signed a peace agreement in New Delhi.

"Today is a golden day for the future of Assam, which has been the most affected state by violence for a long time," Interior Minister Amit Shah said during the signing of the agreement.

"I want to assure ULFA that the government will prepare a program with set deadlines to implement the agreement, and a committee will also be formed," he added.

Assam's Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, was also present during the signing of the agreement, which addresses issues such as illegal immigration, the rights of Indigenous communities, and a development aid package for the region.

ULFA, which is one of the main insurgent groups in Assam, was founded in 1979 by a group of 20 youths who initiated an armed struggle for the independence of Assam.

Currently, this organization is divided into a faction advocating for peace talks led by its president Arabinda Rajkhowa, and another faction that prefers to continue the armed struggle led by Commander Paresh Baruah. ULFA already reached a ceasefire with the Assam government in 2011 but later refused to surrender weapons.

About a dozen separatist groups operate in Assam and other regions of northeastern India, which are connected to the rest of the country by only a narrow strip of land.

There has been a closer relationship between New Delhi and the northeastern part of the country since Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power in 2014, Shah affirmed, adding that "in the last five years, nine peace agreements have been signed in the northeast," including the surrender of over 9,000 insurgents in the area.

On Nov. 29, the Indian government also signed a peace deal with the United National Liberation Front (UNLF), active for six decades in the state of Manipur, adjacent to Assam.

Bolivian Coup Leader Añez Could Spend 20 Years in Prison

Previously, Jeanine Añez was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the "Coup II" case.

On Tuesday, the Bolivian Prosecutor's Office formally accused eight citizens in the "Coup I" case, which revolves around the acts of terrorism that occurred during the 2019 coup against then-President Evo Morales.

Prosecutor Omar Mejillones charged Santa Cruz Governor Luis Fernando Camacho, former Defense Minister Luis Fernando Lopez, former military chief William Kaliman, and former police chief Yuri Calderon as the perpetrators.

Accused as accomplices were the coup-based regime leader Jeanine Añez, far-right activist Marco Antonio Pumari, former inspector of the Armed Forces Jorge Fernandez, and former military chief Carlos Orellana.

After three years of investigations, the Bolivian Prosecutor's Office compiled 133 documentary pieces of evidence and 131 witness statements to support its accusation.

Among the case evidence are bank records showing Camacho transferring money to move people from La Paz to Santa Cruz during the 2019 coup. The Prosecutor's Office has also a technical report on phone call exchanges between Camacho, Lopez, and Kaliman.

Since Dec. 2022, Santa Cruz Governor has been in preventive detention in the Chonchocoro high-security prison for this case and other ongoing proceedings against him.

In the "Coup I" case, the accused face charges such as criminal association, misuse of public goods and services, and public incitement to commit crimes.

In connection with this case, Alvaro Coimbra and Rodrigo Guzman, who were ministers during the U.S.-backed interim government (2019-2020), were sentenced to two years in prison.

Previously, former Senate president Añez was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the "Coup II" case, where she was accused of illegally placing herself in the presidential succession line in 2019 when she self-proclaimed "Interim President."

The Danish queen Margrethe II will resign on January 14th on the 52nd anniversary of her assumption of the throne. Her son crown prince Frederik will become king then. This is the first abdication in Danish history since 1146 when king Eric the Lamb abdicated to enter a convent shortly before his death.

A recent poll showed that 70% of Danes are in favour of keeping the monarchy while the queen as well as the crown prince enjoys personal approval ratings in the 80's. Outside of the Red-Greens who are in favour of a republic, no political party opposes the monarchy.
