Take https://lemm.ee/c/moviesandtv for example. From lemmy.ml, lemmy.world, and sh.itjust.works, you can't see any posts or comments from lemm.ee users, and lemm.ee users can't see any posts from other instances.

I don't know what's broken, but something is badly broken.

Something is definitely wrong. I have noticed I got no interactions with my comments since the upgrade. Which is unusual

I believe that an issue relating to federation was found with version 0.19, and has been addressed in 0.19.1, so we have to wait for the admins to upgrade again.

I can see them on Sync for Lemmy.

Yes, because you are on lemm.ee as well. See the same post in browser from different instances, e.g.: you have a comment on this post: https://lemm.ee/post/19222111 If you see the same post on lemmy.world, you cannot find your comment: https://lemmy.world/post/10009901

Apparently federation only happens once per day is what I read.

[-] PlasmaDistortion@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago

I think it might just be very delayed. Content seems to lag by about 6 hours.

[-] ari_verse@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

was an issue confirmed? I noticed -different from before- that my new subscriptions to communities stay in 'pending state' and don't seem to move to 'joined' as was happening before

[-] HurlingDurling@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

Another thing I've noticed is that I can't post pictures on lemm.ee at all, no profile picture, post, or comment picture.

[-] Blamemeta@lemm.ee 0 points 1 year ago

I think thats on purpose. Storing images is heavy. And besides, theres plenty of image websites.

[-] sag@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

They blocked it because of lemmy shitpost community incident

[-] HurlingDurling@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

So how do you do profile pic hosted elsewhere?
