Ah, ‘voluntary migration’. Just like how if someone pulls a knife on me and asks me to run them everything in my pockets. I ‘voluntarily’ decide to give them my wallet and phone.

They saw Putin saying "special military operation" and figured that Americans aren't much smarter than Russians. If you call your genocide a voluntary emigration it's no biggie.

Many if not most of Americans have yet to figure out that the only Peace the US ever brings to any country it sends troops to is the one Of The Grave, so it does make sense to conclude that about the intelligence of the average American.

The far-right minister hit back at the US late on Tuesday over its criticism of his push for the transfer of Palestinians out of Gaza.

"The United States is our best friend, but first of all we will do what is best for the State of Israel: the migration of hundreds of thousands from Gaza will allow the (Israeli) residents of the envelope to return home and live in security and will protect the IDF (Israeli) soldiers," the far-right minister posted on X.

Come on genocide Joe, you have power in this situation. Halt the arms shipments, halt the funding, start taking about crimes against humanity here. These genocidal war criminals are giving you the cover you need to actually start acting.

Bruh he actually said it out loud. What the fuck are these people's heads made of?

[-] NovaPrime@lemmy.ml 15 points 10 months ago

Endless supply of US dollars and weapons, unwavering US military support, lifetime worth of unchecked power and brainwashing, zero consequences for previous genocidal actions...the list goes on and on. It's almost as if telling a group of state actors that they can do no wrong and any criticism of them is a hate crime emboldens them. Who would have though?

[-] Aceticon@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

There is a pretty direct line of culpability from the genocide in Gaza to the current US Administration which is exactly through their unwavering and continued support to the Fascists in Israel diplomatically and militarilly, even after it was obvious that the Israeli Government's self-proclaimed "defense" had vastly transcended any and all proportionality and the state rationally and had become ethnical cleansing driven by and executed with the same cruel violent racism as the Nazis.

At this point, the US veto in the UN and it's continued provision to Israel of bombs which with no doubt will be used against Palestinian civilians including children, amount to wilful support of Genocide.

[-] NovaPrime@lemmy.ml 3 points 10 months ago

Wholeheartedly agree. As someone who lived through an ethnic cleansing, it disgusts me that military and economic decisions take precedence over human lives. Absolutely sickening.

[-] bedrooms@kbin.social 19 points 10 months ago

These exact words were used by fucking Nazis to kidnap Jews from all over europe to move them to Auschwitz. I wish western so-called representatives say goodbye to lobbying money.

I don't think he means literally but

We will do what is best for the State of "Germany": the migration of hundreds of thousands from "Poland" will allow the residents of the envelope to live in security and will protect the "Nazi" soldiers

Would be perfectly in tone with the German mustache man that Ben Gvir takes so much inspiration from.

Huh, I'm starting to think that the guy who hung a portrait of a mass shooter in his living room and who was exempted from mandatory IDF service for his far right political background, might not be the good guy here

[-] Linkerbaan@lemmy.world 15 points 10 months ago

While giving them more weapons to do the ethnic cleasing with of course.

[-] Aceticon@lemmy.world 7 points 10 months ago

US "Condemns". LOL!

I would be surprised if that "condemnation" translates into any actual action at all.

But hey, who knows: maybe the next delivery of artillery shells and plane bombs for the purpuse of killing more children in Gaza will be 5 minutes late or something like that.

The back and forth between the American and Israeli government to me feels like the Americans are asking the Israelis to please be careful because we still have to pretend we're a democracy to our people, and Israels response is 'No one believes you anways and you're not going to stop us'
