If he does, I hope he manages to recapture what made those games magical in the first place. Some of his most recent projects have really missed the mark, IMO. Bayo 3 should have been an absolute banger, but was mostly unimpressive.

From what I understand Bayonetta 3 focussed more on the spectacle, instead of mechanical fun like DMC or the first Bayonetta game.

Edit: I could be completely wrong though. So, take my words with a grain of salt.

If Kamiya can capture the magic of those games, I am sure so many like me will be lining up to purchase those games.

What does "in the current style" mean? Microtransactions, GAAS, always online, zero polish?
