It reminds me of Microsoft paint when you would doodle a swirly pattern and color in the spaces. Kinda gives it a nostalgic calm feeling. Great work!

What's the style called? It's super cool

Hmm... I'm not sure! It always reminds me of stained glass, or like colour-block minimalism.

I was thinking stained glass!

Wow - will you be selling prints of this? I have a friend who has a birthday coming up and is a big ice fisher, this would be perfect for him.

[-] overlordette@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 year ago

No, I'm sorry, I haven't tried selling prints online. I've never set anything like that up before- but it's certainly not a bad idea. Regardless, I'm so glad you like it!

One of the warmest winter landscapes that ive seen, but it still gives off the unmistakable winter vibes. Really cool piece (pun not intended)

Very nice. Gives me mid-eighties textbook cover vibes.

This style always reminds me of The Cremation of Sam McGee and I'm never quite sure why

[-] ReiRose@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

This is beautiful! Thank you for the share.

Looks very similar to the style used by Ted Harrison, a well-known painter from the Yukon. Very cool, really like it :-)
