“Corrupt judge minimally follows clear law interpretation to avoid ejection from case and judicial sanctions.”
Anyone else feel like they're stuck in a time loop with articles like this?
That fucker's been dealt so many 'blows' that if we stuck a wind turbine to his face we'd have an unlimited source of energy.
I'm so sick of the legal circus surrounding Trump. Put the traitor in prison already - it is the ONLY blow that matters.
if we stuck a wind turbine to his face we'd have an unlimited source of energy.
But what about the birds??
They can have their fill.
Trump's defense team had argued that the 32-count indictment against Trump should be dismissed because the statute on which they are based, the Espionage Act, is too vague to be applied
Jesus paddle-boarding Christ. SMH.
The fact that there was even a hearing on this is a 'win' for that orange fuck head.
His only play is to use endless motions, no matter how absurd, to keep delaying in the hopes that he gets back in office to follow through on his dictatorship promise and pardon himself or install cronies to all justice department positions to drop all cases.
It would be great to be pleasantly surprised by the judge in this case.
This is the best summary I could come up with:
The judge overseeing Donald Trump's classified documents case denied one of the former president's motions to have his federal charges dismissed.
Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, said in an order on Thursday that the questions at the heart of the case are best decided in "connection with jury-instruction briefing."
Trump's defense team had argued that the 32-count indictment against Trump should be dismissed because the statute on which they are based, the Espionage Act, is too vague to be applied.
Prosecutors say that Trump mishandled classified materials and obstructed officials' efforts to obtain the documents after leaving the White House.
The former president has pleaded not guilty to all charges included in his indictment.
This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.
