Seems like a stopgap by TPTB to keep Sinn Fein held back a little longer.
Imo ever since Brexit, Irish Reunification will most likely happen. Just a matter of when not if.
At 37, Harris will be the youngest-ever taoiseach, taking that record from Varadkar who was 38 when he assumed the post in 2017.
I just wanted to point out that Joe Biden is 81 and Donald Trump will be turning 78 in June.
Ireland you can do better than center right.
Although I live in USA, glasshouses and all.
Just remember that what passes for ‘center right’ in Ireland would be seen as super leftist by American standards.
