Joker blowing up the hospital in the nurse outfit is pretty iconic

It was ad-libbed, too, IIRC.

Just the part where the trigger didn't seem to work and he scared himself IIRC.

Naw, I heard the whole thing was improv. Nolan was pretty shocked when Heath blew up the hospital for reals. It was supposed to be CGI.

Fortunately the hospital was for orphans, so no family around to sue the production.

Stopping at the hand sanitizer station on the way out...

My jaw dropped the first time I saw Joker's "disappearing pencil" trick. The whole scene with him interrupting the mob boss meeting is great.

"Let her go!" "OK"

“Would you like to see my mask?” - I really loved Cillian’s Scarecrow and that conversation with Falcone. The nut took over the nuthouse.

“Look at me!” and “How about a magic trick?” - I believe Ledger himself directed the video segment. The sudden deep and serious growl was shocking.

“When Gotham is ashes, then you have my permission to die.” and “Do you feel in charge?” - I know Bane is memed to hell, but he was still a great character.

The villains are really the standouts and stars of the trilogy.

"Do you feel in charge?"

Ooh boy, calm hand on the shoulder, did that question land like a punch to the gut.

Yeah Bale's Batman does nothing for me but the villains are exceptional.

The first two movies.

I hated the third.

The complete lack of education of what anarchy means made it unbearable but even the second one was so ignorant

The second at least had an incredible cast, and I love that movie.

I actually liked Anne Hathaway's Selina Kyle. Her introduction and the "oops" when she gets caught was amazing. Also, her screaming under the table and then immediately switching was great.

Heath Ledger's joker is too good. The money pit, which is a set piece, was still such a great moment. He hit the accountant in the face with a wad of bills and sets it all on fire. Also, when the Joker was just killing judges with car bombs and stuff ... made me genuinely fear him.

The first one, I really liked Liam Neeson as Raz Al Ghul. I liked the training session with him telling him it was his father's weakness and dropping him into the water.

Btw, I think one of the more understated roles in the trilogy is Gary Oldman. I think he played Gordon beautifully.

I'd watch a Scarecrow movie with Cilian Murphy
