It’s a tough time to be unemployed but I have a good network of folks that want to help. 3.5 months in I am starting to lose hope and am looking at backup plans (unemployment runs out after 6 months), but I finally got a positive result from a role that I’m actually pretty interested in with the University of Washington. It would be a very solid job and up to a 20% pay increase depending on what I could negotiate. Fingers crossed.
