I was trying to add an Epson L655 to CUPS, but when i try to print something, the job fails saying the the printer no longer exists or the the printer's config is invalid, even if i add the correct IP

My Epson printer registered as two different printers with slightly different names but only one selection works to actually print. Have you looked into that?

i was connecting it via IPP but the printer only supports JetDirect, for some reason CUPS now asks for a URI and i got confused, and there is no documentation from Epson, anyway, thank you

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
