Might go to a bar crawl. Finishing Ticket to Ride: Legacy. Watching the new Bad Boys movie (I've never actually watched the previous ones). Then I might see Vampire Weekend if I can still get a decent ticket.

Brewing beer!

I'm trying to get back into a hobby I had before I had a kid.

Paint my sculpture of a fantastical creature that I made last weekend. Today is the Pride Parade but after a week of peopling I am too worn out to go. Tonight is game night so I’m trying to be nice to my body so I don’t fade out too early.

My cat decided I should wake up early to make biscuits on my shoulder so right now I’m just laying in bed enjoying the cool morning air and the sun rising over the mountains. He’s lucky it’s his birthday week cause he almost got pitched off the bed.

I used to have a giant four piece kiln that I got for cheap from a school auction. I always wanted to try porcelain sculpture, but there wasn't any available around my area. Eventually life happened and I sold the kiln to a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses lol. They probably got a lot more use out of it than I did.

Pressure wash the back deck, replace to roofing on the patio, buy some new deck chairs and plants so it's ready for me to do nothing next weekend! Oh and also go pitch and putt with my sons or at least hit the driving range.

Jam Day with my friends! We get together, warm up, eat lunch, and jam for hours.
Then we eat dinner, and jam out for the last leg of the day.

It makes the rest of the week possible.

I'll be doing judo and sleeping.

[-] berryjam@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

I'm planning to work on my uchi mata this weekend!

[-] i_ben_fine@lemmy.one 2 points 1 year ago

I wish online judo communities were more active. Reddit's is practically dead -- Lemmy's is barely worth mentioning.

[-] berryjam@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Yeah, I'd love to find an active community. Sometimes I visit /r/bjj and get sad that the judo subreddit is so much less active.

Wanna watch a movie, study a bit possibly, and then bake cookies. ✨

I'm also going to a bjj open mat; bit nervous, I hope I don't get smashed too badly.
