It turns out that Donald Trump had something nice to say about Minnesota Governor Tim Walz during the protests over George Floyd’s death in 2020.

At the time, ABC News reported Wednesday, Trump praised the now-Democratic vice presidential nominee, telling a group of state governors that Walz “dominated” and saying he was an example for other governors to follow.

“I know Governor Walz is on the phone, and we spoke, and I fully agree with the way he handled it the last couple of days,” Trump said on the June 1, 2020, phone call, a recording of which was obtained by ABC.

“I was very happy with the last couple of days, Tim,” Trump added. “You called up big numbers, and the big numbers knocked them out so fast it was like bowling pins.”

It doesn’t matter. Vance stood up in front of an audience and Fox “journalists” then straight faced claimed that Harris opposed the Child Tax Credit, a key success story of the Biden/Harris administration. No one said a word, no one cared. The only truth moving forward is she opposed it, facts be damned.

Welcome to the post-truth era. It's been almost a decade and I still hate every second of it.

Yep, and if you can't beat them join them. I'm no elected official, I'll lie to conservatives on the Internet, because then they're the ones who run to Google to try and fact check, and they may actually end up learning something.

JD Vance prefers sectionals to ottomans because the latter would be gay

This is a true statement until JD Vance releases undeniable proof that it's not

I got $20 on "Trump thought Walz was a Republican."

It's waaay more short sighted than that. He was doing press time, and during each press outing he kinda decides which branding he wants for the moment. This time, he wanted to look charismatic and supportive of the states and their governors.

"How do I want to be seen right now" and his brand outweighs any long term political moves.

Businessman mentality. No core integrity, just a tool for capital

Trump Approved isn't exactly a great endorsement. Quite the opposite, actually.
