I was still holding out hope he'd sign for Brighton, would have been a cool signing. But this honestly makes more sense.

Great signing for Roma, he showed last season he's still serviceable at the top level and even more so. He was great in the latter half of Dortmund's season but who knows how much longer he'll be able to keep that level up

CB continues to be a dammed hard position to fill and feel good about.
