twitter went wild because the guardian published an essay with the headline "we each have a nazi within us" and this is my response to that article (from aaron maté's dad no less)

doubt but I'm still listening, go ahead.

Articler checks out. Though I have argued that the thrill and satisfaction of hurting people you believe to be less than you is a significant reward for rank and file fascists. I don't care to psychoanalyze it, Freud was a crank, I'm happy with saying that some people are motivated to support fascist causes because they like hurting people.
